Two-step login

Each time you sign in, enter a 6-digit code from an authenticator app on your phone (such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or 1Password).

It is optional, and nobody is made to turn it on. We recommend it for owners and admins, especially before connecting an AI assistant to your club's data: someone who learns your password still can't get in without your phone.

Two-step login is for club staff (owners, admins and coaches). Parents don't see it.

Turning it on

  1. Open Your account from the menu, and find Two-step login under Security.
  2. Tap Set up two-step login.
  3. In your authenticator app, add an account and scan the QR code. If you can't scan it, type in the key shown under it instead.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code the app shows, and your password, then tap Turn on two-step login. If you sign in with Google or Apple and have no password, we email you a link to confirm instead.
  5. Save your 10 recovery codes. We show them once only.

Turning it on signs you out in every other browser, and disconnects any AI assistant (Claude or ChatGPT) you connected to your clubs. Sign in there again with a code, and reconnect each assistant once: see AI assistants. Changing your password or email address does the same.

Signing in

After your password (or Google or Apple), you'll be asked for a code. Open the app and type the 6 digits it shows now. A code changes every 30 seconds and works once.

After 5 wrong codes you go back to the start and sign in again. After 10 wrong codes in 15 minutes, codes from the app stop working on your account for 15 minutes. A recovery code still works, or contact support and we'll turn two-step login off after checking it's you.

If you lose your phone

  • On the code page, open Lost your phone? Use a recovery code and enter one of your recovery codes. Each code works once.
  • Then, in Your account, turn two-step login off and set it up again on your new phone.
  • No recovery codes left? Contact support. We'll check it's you, then turn two-step login off for your account so you can sign in with your password.

New recovery codes

In Your account, open New recovery codes, enter a code from your app and tap Make new codes. Your old recovery codes stop working.

Turning it off

Open Turn off two-step login in Your account, and enter a code from your app (or a recovery code) and your password.
