Is it built for safeguarding children?
Yes. Every student record holds emergency contacts, medical and SEND notes, and e-signed consent (photo, trip, policy). You can see at a glance who is missing required info before a session, and consent is stored with a legally valid signature — no paper to chase or lose.
Does it handle Gift Aid and VAT?
Yes. If you are a charity or CASC, parents make Gift Aid declarations online when they sign up, Adminished tracks who is eligible, and it produces the report you hand to HMRC — no separate form, no chasing. You can also set a VAT rate that flows through invoices and receipts. We produce the HMRC report; we do not file the claim for you.
How do I pay my tutors?
Adminished totals the sessions and hours each tutor taught, multiplies by their rate and exports a CSV for whoever does your books — month-end pay worked out in seconds. It does the maths and the export; it is not PAYE/NI/RTI filing.
Can I run more than just tutoring?
Yes — that is the point. Run holiday camps, revision courses, group clubs and one-to-one tuition side by side in the same account, with one parent list, one calendar and one set of payments. Most tutoring-only tools can't do this.
Can parents pay online, and does it chase late fees?
Yes. Connect Stripe and parents settle monthly or per-term invoices by card; you can also record cash and bank transfers. Adminished then sends automatic overdue reminders on a schedule, so you are not chasing fees by hand.
What does it cost?
Start free — the Free plan is free forever for up to 20 active students with every feature included, no card required. Paid plans add capacity as you grow, with no per-student or per-tutor charges. The only usage fee is an optional 1% on card payments you choose to take through Adminished.
Is it UK-based and GDPR compliant?
Yes. Adminished is built and operated by a UK company, ICO registered, with UK data storage and UK GDPR-aware handling of children's data.
