Messaging your club
If you have a question for your club — anything from "which kit does she need?" to "can we talk about her progress?" — you can send it from the app instead of hunting for a phone number.
Sending one
- Tap Messages.
- Type into Start a message and send.
There's no one to choose. It goes to whoever runs your club, so you don't have to work out which coach handles what.
It's private — a conversation between you and the club. Other parents never see it, and it isn't posted anywhere.
When you'll hear back
Your message arrives immediately, and shows up on your coach's Messages with a marker on it. If they've turned on notifications, their phone buzzes too.
What it doesn't do is email them. So they'll see it next time they open the app — usually quickly, but if something is urgent for today's session, ring the club.
Their reply appears in the same conversation, and you'll see it on your Messages when you open the app.
Replying
Tap the conversation to open it and reply there. Everything stays in one thread, so you can scroll back to what was agreed.
Text only
You can't attach a photo or a file to a message — it's text. If your coach needs a document from you, they'll send you a form or a consent to fill in, which appears on your dashboard.
Some things are quicker done directly
You don't need to message for these — the app does them straight away, and it saves your coach the admin:
- Can't make a session? Tap Won't attend on it. Your coach is told, and at some clubs it earns a make-up credit. See reporting an absence.
- Questions about what you owe? Money shows every charge and payment, and your receipts — see paying your fees.
- Changing class, pausing, or how you pay? Open your child from your dashboard — see changing your membership.
- Forms and consents? They appear on your dashboard when there's one to sign — see signing forms.
Not seeing Messages?
It's on the bottom bar of the parent portal. If your club has only just set up, there may be nothing there yet — the composer still works, so you can send the first one.
