Setting up events and camps
Events are one-off or multi-day sessions — holiday camps, tournaments, open days — that parents can book and pay for independently of their regular class subscription. Available on Essential and Pro plans.
Events vs regular classes
- Regular class — recurring, tied to a term, managed through the Classes tab.
- Event — one-off or multi-day, ticketed, with its own public booking page that parents can reach without logging in.
Creating an event
- Go to Events in the main navigation.
- Click Create event.
- Fill in the name, start date, end date (can be the same day), age range, and maximum capacity.
- Optionally upload a leaflet or image — this appears on the public booking page.
- Click Save. The event is created in draft; it is not yet public.
Setting up ticket tiers
After saving, open the event and go to the Tickets tab. You can add multiple tiers on the same event:
- Early-bird — set a quantity limit and an end date; the tier closes automatically.
- Standard — the default tier once early-bird closes.
- Family discount — a reduced price for a second or subsequent child from the same family. Adminished applies this automatically when a parent books more than one child.
Leave a tier price at £0.00 if you want a free event.
Publishing and sharing
- Once tickets are set, click Publish. This makes the event visible at
/events/<slug>. - Copy the booking link from the event page.
- To reach existing parents, go to Comms, write a message, and paste the link. Parents can book without logging in, or log in first to have their details pre-filled.
Pre-event checklist
- Capacity is set and correct.
- Your payment account is connected (Settings → Payments) — otherwise bookings cannot take payment.
- Leaflet or image uploaded if you want it shown on the booking page.
- Early-bird end date is in the future if you're using that tier.
On the day and afterwards
- Open the event and use the Attendance tab to mark who showed up on the day.
- When the event is over, click Export attendees to download a CSV of everyone who booked, their ticket tier, and payment status.
