Software for Saturday and community-language schools
Stop chasing bank transfers and shoebox consent forms. Adminished runs your registers, parent billing, safeguarding and Gift Aid in one place — built for UK supplementary schools. Free to start, then just 1% on the payments you take.
Sound familiar?
- Termly fees come in by bank transfer and cash, with a volunteer treasurer chasing who has paid in a notebook.
- Registers are on paper, then copied into a spreadsheet — and there is no quick way to prove attendance to a funder or your committee.
- Consent forms, photo permissions and medical notes live in a folder that resets to chaos every September.
- DBS checks for volunteer teachers are tracked in someone's head, with no reminder before they lapse.
- Parent messages are scattered across WhatsApp groups, with no record of what was sent to whom.
Everything a Saturday and community-language school needs, in one place
Collect termly fees without chasing
Take fees by Direct Debit or card, termly or monthly, with automatic charges and polite overdue reminders — so a volunteer is not chasing bank transfers every term. You can still record cash and bank transfers by hand so everything sits in one ledger.
Gift Aid that recovers real money
If you are a registered charity, parents make Gift Aid declarations online when they sign up, Adminished tracks who is eligible, and it produces the report you hand to HMRC — a genuine funding lever most school tools ignore. We produce the report; we do not file the claim for you.
Safeguarding built for volunteers
Track DBS status and expiry for every teacher and helper, and capture photo, medical and policy consent signed per child with a legally valid audit trail. The records your committee — and a funder — will ask to see, without the paper folder.
Registers in seconds, attendance you can prove
Mark each child present, late, excused or no-show in one tap from any phone. Excused and no-show are recorded without charging a fee, and you get a clean attendance history to show a funder or your management committee.
One parent list, not five WhatsApp groups
Post announcements and give every family their own login to see the timetable, what is due and paid, and their signed forms. It is a parent portal with announcements and a record of what you sent — not a live group chat.
Built for the UK, and for charities
UK GDPR-aware handling of children's data, ICO registered, with UK data residency and a public Security page you can forward to a parent or your local authority — plus Gift Aid where you are eligible.
Move off the spreadsheet in a weekend
Switching is free and done for you: we bring your families and classes across and carry over any existing card or Direct Debit mandates, so parents do not re-enter their details and collection carries on uninterrupted.
Questions Saturday and community-language schools ask
Is it built for a volunteer-run school?
Yes. It is designed to be run by volunteers, not IT staff: simple registers from a phone, a parent portal so families self-serve, and automatic fee collection and reminders so a treasurer is not chasing payments by hand. Roles let you give committee members and teachers the right access.
Can we collect termly fees without chasing parents?
Yes. Parents pay termly or monthly by Direct Debit or card through their own login, with charges taken automatically and overdue reminders sent for you. You can also record cash and bank-transfer payments so every payment lives in one place.
Do you support Gift Aid?
Yes. If you are a charity or CASC, parents make Gift Aid declarations online when they enrol, Adminished tracks who is eligible, and it produces the report you hand to HMRC — no separate form, no chasing. We produce the report; we do not file the claim for you.
What about safeguarding and DBS for our teachers?
Every child record holds emergency contacts, medical notes and e-signed consent (photo, trip, policy) with a legally valid audit trail, and you can track DBS status and expiry for each teacher and helper — so you can see at a glance who is missing required checks before a session.
What does it cost?
Start free — the Free plan is free forever for up to 20 active students with every feature included, no card required. Paid plans add capacity as you grow, with no per-pupil or per-teacher charges. The only usage fee is an optional 1% on card payments you choose to take through Adminished.
Is it UK-based and GDPR compliant?
Yes. Adminished is built and run by a UK company, ICO registered, with UK data storage and UK GDPR-aware handling of children's data. Our public Security page sets out the legal basis, data residency, every sub-processor and a 30-day deletion guarantee — the page to forward to a parent or your local authority.
Can you move us off bank transfer or our spreadsheet?
Yes. We offer free, done-for-you migration that brings your families and classes across and carries over any existing card or Direct Debit mandates, so parents do not have to re-enter details and fee collection continues without a gap.
Would this be worth £19 a month to your school?
We're a UK company building this for volunteer-run schools, and we want the price to be fair. Adminished is free for up to 20 children; for a larger school it would be £19 a month for everything — registers, Direct Debit fee collection, consent, safeguarding and Gift Aid — with no per-child charges. Before we build more specifically for Saturday and community schools, tell us honestly: would that be worth it for the evenings your committee currently spends on admin?
