Run your weekly basketball without fronting the court hire
Share one link with the group, everyone pays their share of the court by card straight to your own account, and the spot's only held once they've paid. Free to start, then a 1% platform fee on the payments you take (on top of standard card processing).
Sound familiar?
- You front the sports-hall hire every week, then chase ten people round a WhatsApp group for their share by bank transfer.
- Working out who's actually sent the money — half the thread says 'in', a couple sent it, the rest you have to remind.
- Players reply 'I'm in' to lock a spot, then ghost on the night and you're a man down with the court already paid for.
- No fair way to handle a full run — it's whoever shouts first, not whoever's actually paid, so you end up short on the door money.
- Taking PayPal Friends & Family or splitting it on the door — against the rules, no record, and you're the one carrying the risk.
- Every week starts from scratch — no list of who paid, no receipts, just scrolling back through the chat trying to remember.
Everything a casual basketball and pickup-run organisers needs, in one place
Everyone pays their share straight to you
Each player pays their cut of the court by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and it lands in your own connected account — not ours. You onboard as an individual with your personal bank details, no company needed. Prefer cash on the night for the odd player? Record it for free so your list still adds up.
A spot's only held once it's paid
No more counting 'in' replies. A player's place is confirmed when their share clears, and Adminished keeps the paid list for you automatically — so you know exactly how many bodies you've got and how much of the hire is covered before you tip off.
Set your numbers, first paid first served
Pick how many players the court takes — eight for fives, more for a rolling run. Once it's full, latecomers go on an automatic waitlist in the order they paid, and the next person is pulled in the moment someone drops out. No favourites, no arguments.
One link, straight into the group chat
Drop a single booking link into your WhatsApp or group thread. Players tap it, pay their share and they're on the list — no app to download, no sign-up hoops, no chasing replies.
One-off run or a regular weekly slot
Set up a single game, or a recurring weekly run that opens itself every week. Regulars can save a card or set up a Direct Debit once, so the same crew gets sorted automatically instead of paying from scratch every Tuesday.
A clean record every week
Every payment is logged with an automatic receipt, so you've always got a clear record of who paid, what came in and whether the hire was covered — no scrolling back through the chat, no mental maths on the night.
Questions casual basketball and pickup-run organiserss ask
Do I need a company to take the money?
No. You onboard as an individual with your personal bank details, so anyone organising a casual run can collect everyone's share — no company, no business account, nothing to register. Payments go straight to your own account, not through us.
How do my players actually pay?
You share one link into the group chat. Each player taps it and pays their share by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay — it lands in your connected account. If someone insists on cash on the night, you can record that too so your paid list still adds up.
What if someone drops out last minute?
If the run's full, anyone who paid after it filled is on an automatic waitlist in the order they paid. The moment a player drops out, the next person on the list is pulled in — first paid, first served, so you're not left a body short with the court already booked.
Can my regulars pay automatically each week?
Yes. Set up a recurring weekly slot and your regulars can save a card or set up a Direct Debit once, so the same crew is sorted every week without you re-sending the link or chasing anyone for their share.
Is this only for basketball?
Not at all. Adminished works for any casual game where people split the cost — five-a-side, badminton, netball, a hall full of pickup hoops or anything else. If you're fronting a booking and collecting everyone's share, it fits.
What does it cost me to use?
Adminished is free to start. When you take payments there's a 1% platform fee on top of standard card processing — so if nobody's paying, you're not paying either. Recording cash or bank transfers yourself is always free.
